Life Drawing Sketchbook

Started getting my life drawing sketchbook a little more organized last year. Instead of just drawing all kinds of crap all over the place i started to think a little bit more about composition and design when doing a page. I started to cut the pages into panels and use page as a whole image. Its funny how often your brain tries to make it into a story as soon as you add the panels. Its like its cut into scenes and we immediately try to associate one to another. Or maybe thats just me.

Inking Class

Had an inking class last semester and im going to post a few of the pieces i did. Theyre all someone elses work that we had to trace and try and emulate their inking. This is a piece from a comic called Torpedo by a fellow called Jordi Bunett.

Been a long time

Havent been posting much lately cuz ive been working on a comic. A real comic. And im not allowed to post the pages im doing. I havent been drawing much for myself as of late but im going to do my best to post something, anything, every couple of days. Sounds almost like a new years resolution.
